wikiDOMO.com doesn’t yet have the "Events" feature operating - and it’s a real shame too. If we did, it would have really highlighted the benefits of being able to talk about what’s going on in our community. As it is, we have a number of people talking about the Toronto Police Service and Chief Bill Blair.
This is the kind of situation that makes wikiDOMO.com shine. People need to be able to share their views. Yes, they can do it on blogs and twitter and such, but that is all fleeting. wikiDOMO.com provides the public the ability to aggregate views about people and places. These views will always remain part of the public profiles, and this content is open and available for reuse free of charge. It’s the public’s content to maintain and contribute, and theirs to share as well.
